Little is known about Amanda at this time. She was the third daughter of Pinkney D. Shriner and his wife Laura Ann Claypool, born January 4, 1861 in Vinton County, Ohio. According to the 1910 U. S. Census for Ohio Amanda was the wife of George W. Ridgway. The marriage was his first and her second, they had been married twenty years and were living in Jefferson Village (now West Jefferson). Amanda's only child was a son, Nolo S., aged eighteen years when the census was taken on May 13, 1910. At that time George W. Ridgway worked as a clerk in a furniture store and Nolo was a bank clerk. Amanda J. Shriner Ridgway died on January 8, 1924 and is buried near her mother and younger brother at Green Lawn Cemetery in Columbus.

Nothing is known about Amanda's first marriage, and nothing further is known about her second husband, George W. Ridgway.

By January 5, 1920 (census) Nolo Shriner Ridgway had married Marguerite Urlin (Ancstry.com, California Death Index, 1940-1997). Nolo was working as a real estate sales man and living at 751 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio. At that time couple had two sons, George U. and Nolo S. Ridgway, Jr. A third son, Robert D. Ridgway, was born in Ohio and by April 5, 1930 (census) the family was living in Beverly Hills, California where Nolo worked as a real estate agent.

George Urlin Ridgeway was born June 4, 1917 in Ohio and died March 18, 1976 at Los Angeles County, California. Nolo Shriner Ridgway was born February 15, 1919, died September 26, 1987 at Los Angeles County, California; and Robert D. Ridgway was born March 2, 1922 in Ohio and died November 29, 1989.

NOTE: Dates of birth and death for George U. Ridway, Nolo Shriner Ridgway, Jr., and Robert D. Ridgeway came from Ancstry.com, California Death Index, 1940-1997 and Social Security Death Index.
