WILLARD BRYANT HAFFORD

Willard Bryant was the youngest child of Joseph Williams Hafford and his wife Lucy Eve McClelland, born in Columbus on February 25, 1893. On March 18, 1918 he enlisted in the Ohio State University Students' Army Training Corp, a reserve unit, and was honorably discharged December 10 of the same year with the rank of Private. On June 10, 1926 Willard marred Amy Adams in Columbus. The couple moved to Davenport, Iowa where Willard worked as a mechanical engineer and college instructor (See Hafford Family Group Sheet). Willard died December 8, 1946 in Davenport, Scott County, Iowa and is buried in Davenport Memorial Park.
