The tombstone of Sherman T. Limes is posted on the Website for Reber Hill Cemetery, Walnut Township, Pickaway County. Sherman Limes is buried near his parents, Wesley and Martha Ann (Miller) Limes.

The baby Sherman holding is unidentified. However, I know that Sherman had only son, William Gilbert Limes (April 12, 1906- February 25, 1949).

Gilbert's children were: Robert Sherman (April 24, 1921-June 19, 2000) and Dorothy Mae Limes (August 28, 1922-October 10, 1998). I think that the baby is either Robert Sherman or his sister Dorothy Mae, Sherman's grandchildren.

Sherman Limes' siblings were: John Thomas, Charles H., Mary E. (Mrs. William McGarity), William W., Frank M., who died young, and Iva (Mrs. James McGarity).

Sherman Limes' brief obituary appeared on November 28, 1940 in the Columbus Evening Dispatch. It states he died at the home of his son, Gilbert W. Limes who was residing at the time at 1330 North Fourth Street, Columbus, Ohio. At the time of his death, Sherman Limes was a member of the Cedar Camp No 1., W.O.W., and Eastgate Lodge of Masons. Remains were at the A. J. Held Co. Parlors where his funeral was held.
