Foster Chapel Cemetery is located on the east side of Plain City-Georgesville Road (County Rd 7) and south of Morgan Road (County Rd 46)  Jonathan Alder, the first white settler in the County is buried in this cemetery and there is both a Historical Marker at the southwest corner of the cemetery, and a large modern gravestone (see below) marking his final resting place.
