Dixon, PFC, United States Marine Corps. age 18,died May 11, 2005 while serving his country in the Marines in Karabilah, Iraq during "Opera- tion Iraqi Freedom". Graduated from Hamilton Township High School in 2004. Sur- vived by parents, David and Beckie Dixon; and brother, Chad Dixon and his girl- friend, Michele Hatfield and her sister, Melissa Hatfield of Obetz, Oh.; aunts and uncles, Jane and David Smith of Gahanna, Oh., Joyce Dixon and Judy Holbrook of Louisa, Ky., Jeanette and David Cordle, Phyllis Blackburn and Danny Dixon of Mechanicsburg, Oh., Rosemary and Dan Rhoades and Brenda and John Eitel of Circle- ville, Oh., Lou and Matt Kramer of Chandler, Az.; and several cousins in Ohio, Kentucky and Arizona. Preceded in death by uncles Gerald Edward and Larry Arbaugh of Obetz, Oh. and maternal grandparents Gerald and Estella Arbaugh of Obetz, Oh. and paternal grandmother Telia Dixon of Mechanicsburg, Oh.. Also survived by his coworkers at Rainbow Lanes Bowling Alley where he worked prior to leaving for his career in the Marine Corps. Chris had a large support group of friends and family all over the world during his short time in Iraq. Chris was a joy to be around, loved by everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed.
