Foster age 35, of Grove City, OH, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2004 as result of an on duty automobile accident with the City of Columbus, OH Division of Police. She was born May 17, 1969 in Greenville, MI, the daughter of Keith C. and Susan M. (Kerns) Foster. She was a 1987 graduate of Greenville High School and 1998 graduate of the Columbus Police Academy and was employed with the City of Columbus. She was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church of Stanton, Michigan. She is survived by her parents, Keith and Susan Foster of Greenville, MI; her daughter, Elaine Foster-Thornton; and her son, Owen Keith Foster-Hickey, both living at home; sisters and brother-in-law, Sharon (Dean) Mallory of Sheridan, MI and Julie Foster of Ludington, MI; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael (Heather) Kerns of Greenville, MI and Cary (Tonya) Foster of Saranac, MI; grandmother, Elaine Kerns of Greenville, MI; and great grandmother, Virginia Maier of Beaverton, OR. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews. The Columbus Division of Police will be holding a public memorial service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at the Central College Presbyterian Church, 975 S. Sunbury Rd., Westerville, Oho. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at the MARSHALL FUNERAL HOME, 420 West Grove, Greenville, Michigan 48838. Funeral and Committal Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2004 with Rev. Larry Sheppard officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens.
