DATE of INTERMENT: May 28th, 1923 Obit from Columbus Dispatch, dated Wednesday May 28, 1913: FRANCES A. HATCH Mrs. Frances A. Hatch, widow of Elijah Hatch, passed away in St. Anthony's Hospital early Tuesday morning at the age of 80 years. She was stricken with paralysis three months ago. Mrs. Hatch's sister, Mrs. Thurston of New York, died only a month or two ago and a grandson was killed in St. Louis about two weeks ago. The funeral service for Mrs. Hatch will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence of her son, Howard E. Hatch, 35 Starr avenue, where she made her home. Interment will be made in Green Lawn and the Brown-Myers company will be in charge. Six children survive Mrs. Hatch. They are; William H. Hatch of Nelsonville, Mrs. A. J. Carr of Coultersville, Ill.; C. M., A. G. and A. B. Hatch and Mrs. Benner, wife of Dr. Benner of Columbus. She also leaves sixteen grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. Howard Thurston, well-known magician, is a nephew of Mrs. Hatch.
