Ebenezer Methodist Episcopal Cemetery, Pleasant Township, Franklin County, OH

Gravestone Photographs

Ebenezer Methodist Episcopal Cemetery is located on the south side of Johnson Road about 3 tenths of a mile west of Norton Road, just west of Hellbranch Run.  It is maintained by the Pleasant Township Trustees, 5373 Norton Road, Grove City, OH 43123-9666.

While we were photographing the cemetery the gentleman who lives across the road came out to talk to us.  He said that his house was the original Ebenezer Methodist Episcopal Church.  It is now much larger than the original as several additions have been built over the years.  He told us that the first minister who served Ebenezer church was a Rev. Henderson.  The church building contained only one room and was used during the week as a school for the area children.  Just out of sight in the photo above, along the wrought iron fence, are beautiful gladiola and other flowers planted and cared for by this same gentleman.
