Gravestone Photographs

Agudas Achim Cemetery, located on Alum Creek Drive and Integrity Drive S., is commonly referred to as Jewish Cemetery.  According to a plaque attached to a gatepost inside the cemetery it was dedicated on 28 August 1891.  After the new cemetery on Refugee Road was dedicated in 1952, the Agudas Achim Cemetery "fell into serious disrepair."  A complete restoration was completed on 29 June 1984.

NOTE:  Most of the stones have inscriptions on both front and back and in both English and Hebrew.  We are unable to read or translate the Hebrew, but we tried to obtain readable photographs of all inscriptions.

On 1 August 2004 the area at the top of the aerial photo, nearest Integrity Drive was completely photographed.  More than 400 photographs were required to insure complete inscriptions.  Additional photos will be taken at a later date and upon request.
